Shah Rukh Khan and not Abhay lured Preeti into films!

Preeti Desai, former Miss Great Britain and actor Abhay Deol’s girlfriend is all set to sizzle in Bollywood through her forthcoming film ‘Shor in the city’ .
Preeti will be seen opposite Hollywood actor Sendhil Ramamuthry.
We bumped into Preeti at the Lakme Fashion Week few days back and the debutante’s friend gave us an interesting dope on what made her come to India and Bollywood.
We assumed it was Abhay who drew her to films but to our surprise, it happened to be none other than Shah Rukh Khan!
The London based lass was lured into Bollywood by Shah Rukh.
A friend of Preeti was heard saying, ‘The Badshah of Bollywood - Shahrukh Khan” himself suggested her to try acting. Apparently Shahrukh knows a family friend of Preeti, through whom he met her, which is when he advised her to come down to India and give films a shot, recommending that she join Anupam Kher’s acting classes. Already having her own share of the celebrity life, former ‘Miss Great Britain’ seriously considered working on the thought and next thing you know, “ Shor in the City” happens.
Now if you follow Shah Rukh’s advice, you are bound to succeed, isn’t it Preeti?
