Vikram’s Pitha renamed Deiva Thirumagan

Vikram’s upcoming project directed by Madarasapattinam Vijay, which was earlier titled as Pitha, has been renamed as Deiva Thirumagan now. Anushka and Amala Paul are the female leads. The film also has Vijay’s regular team of Nirav (camera), G.V. Prakash (music), Selva (art) and Anthony (editing). In the film, Vikram will appear as Muthu, a man suffering with a mental disorder and his struggles to bring up his daughter. Amala Paul will appear as Vikram’s wife. Though initially reported to be inspired by the American movie I Am Sam, director Vijay has rubbished these reports.
