Bollywood celebrities extend support to Anna Hazare



IANS, New Delhi, April 7: Bollywood celebrities have shown support for eminent social activist Anna Hazare, who has gone on an indefinite hunger strike for a stronger Lokpal Bill that provides for stringent punishment for corruption.
The Lokpal Bill, 2010 provides for filing complaints of corruption against the prime minister, ministers and MPs with the ombudsman.
However, Hazare said that the Lokpal Bill in its present form is toothless and his supporters have drafted a separate Jan Lokpal bill taking into account the views and suggestions from civil society and common people and want its enactment.
